I spent my early career in London working in the recruitment sector. I was results and money driven and I loved the bright lights of London and the stupidly ridiculous zero work life balance lifestyle that had to offer. Family circumstances brought me back up North where I continued my career in recruitment this time a little bit more stressful in that I found myself setting up my own recruitment business and in just 2 years time the company was achieving over half a million pounds turnover. Was I happy? No! Was money making me happy? No! Was the stress making me ill? YES!! I then embarked on my motherhood journey and that was the game changer. The stressful life I had been living was making me depressed, anxious and no longer fulfilled me on any level. So I gave it up to become to a full time mum - well not quite I did start up a small boutique photography studio that fit round the children. Once my youngest was ready for school I decided to change direction and go working in the public sector. I managed a successful back to work employment project and found what made me happy was helping others. The year 2020 happened and everything changed again. It was another wake up call for me to assess my life, its direction and what my purpose and life vision was. I discovered sound healing and it has changed me forever. I was a regular at sound baths and events and I discovered how powerful and life changing this healing modality is.
I was so confident that it has a place in the future of the health and wellbeing for all that I left my job and decided to train as a sound therapist with the Sound Healing Academy. More recently i have trained with Jill Purce; the international voice teacher in learning ancient vocal techniques including overtone chanting.
Once we embrace a shift in understanding of how our bodies work and interact with the environment around us amazing things can happen. As Edgar Cayce stated “Sound will be the medicine of the future”
I hope we speak soon
